BIO
Patti spent her childhood growing up on farms with close access to the joys of the natural world and living within the natural rhythms of the planet. In this peaceful environment she learned to listen deeply to an intelligence that spoke to her, or the voice of her intuition. Patti was also raised amoungst intuitives and healers where the language of intuition was openly shared and with curiousity.
After spending her twenties in health care and relocating to a small town she beganc having dreams of reconnecting people to the beauty and intelligence of the natural world and spent the following ten years leading educational programs. She began by designing and leading programs and projects in sustainable development, stewardship and urban ecology. However, as time evolved it became clear that a holistic vision of development was necessary for change to be truly effective. Research, training and development projects then began to consider the web of life they emerged from integrating the physical, social, spiritual, artistic, cultural, environmental and economic dimensions of healthy human and community development. The awareness of a need for a living systems approach to transformative change led to extensive research with indigenous peoples to learn their leadership principles, visionary abilities and beliefs surrounding respectful relationships between peoples and the earth.
In 2004, Patti completed a Master of Arts Degree in Leadership & Training through RoyalRoads University. The program emphasized adult learning, leadership and organizational development. It was in her graduate studies that she began to reconnect with her own intution and as she learned more about others with her gift, she began to learn about why she had shut it down and how to share the information in a way that may be more meaningful to others. She made a bold move and conducted her thesis on “Intuition & Leadership: The Art of Wise Decision-Making” which was sponsored through the School of Leadership at Royal Roads University. This was an action research project designed to explore decision-making, intercultural communication, adult education and leadership within the context of a global learning community. Her undergraduate studies were in Human Geography & Environmental Studies, and she holds a certificates in Volunteer Management and Reiki and is a registered Yoga Teacher.
Patti's vision is to share this knowledge for the purpose of reconnecting people with a wisdom within their own heart that desires a voice. She believes that by increasing transparency and allowing a more integrated authenticity to give expression we can explore a new way of seeing, a new way of being and a new way to resolve our human and global problems.
